This page is accurate about what the site does. It has not been checked by a Nigerian data-protection practitioner, and it must be before launch.
We do not ask who you are. There is no account, no sign-up and no password. You can size a system and never tell us your name.
We do not keep your appliance list. It is sent to our server, a system size is calculated, the answer comes back, and the list is gone. It is not written to a database and it is not logged.
That is the entire list. It is stored by your own browser, it never reaches us, and clearing your browser data removes it. It is not a cookie and it is not used to recognise you.
When you press “See my system”, your browser sends the appliances you listed, your state, and the choices you made. Our server works out a system size and sends it back.
Cloudflare, who serve this site, keep short-lived technical records of requests for security and abuse prevention, as any host does. We do not add anything to those and we do not use them to build a picture of you.
Your IP address is not stored by us. We do not have a database of visitors, because we do not have a database of visitors.
Two things ahead will collect real personal data, and this page will be rewritten before either ships — not after:
Payment card details are handled by Paystack and never reach us. We will hold the email you paid with, so we can send you your report again if you lose it.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Today the honest answer to the first question is almost always “none”, and we would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
